More Than a Concert—A Catalyst for Impact
As a newly formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Wyoming State Fair Foundation is working to secure the long-term success and growth of the Wyoming State Fair. Proceeds from this concert will directly support the Foundation’s core initiatives, including:
Economic Development
Drawing visitors from South Dakota, Colorado, Montana, Utah, Nebraska, and beyond, the concert is expected to drive overnight stays and tourism revenue, especially with shuttle service from Hat Six Travel Plaza in Casper to the Douglas fairgrounds. It’s a win for both the Fair and the wider regional economy.
Community Engagement
This annual concert brings together Wyomingites and guests from neighboring states to celebrate tradition, culture, and music. It fosters connections across communities and generations.
Cultural Celebration
With local talent like Tris Munsick, the event honors Wyoming’s identity, heritage, and values—while shining a spotlight on the donors and sponsors who make this mission possible.
Youth & Agriculture Programs
-4-H, FFA, and hands-on learning opportunities at the Fair
-Everyday Agriculture: interactive education for all ages
-Energy Fair in the Knowledge Barn: showcasing ag-based energy solutions
These programs bridge the gap between consumers and agriculture, prepare the next generation of rural leaders, and elevate the role of agriculture in everyday life.
Why It Matters
This isn’t just a concert. It’s an investment in:
- Wyoming’s future leaders
- The vitality of our state’s agriculture
- Educational opportunities for all
- Local and statewide economic growth
Join us for a night where music meets mission, and help us ensure the Wyoming State Fair continues to thrive for generations to come.
Wyoming State Fair Endowment Auction
Why We Host the Endowment Auction
The WSFF Endowment Auction is one of our key fundraisers to grow this important fund. Every item bid on or donated helps secure a stronger future for the Fair—supporting youth programs, facilities, and the Fairgrounds for generations to come.
It’s not just an auction—it’s an investment in Wyoming’s heritage view more details.
The Wyoming State Fair Endowment was created by the Legislature in 2018 to help ensure the long-term success of the Wyoming State Fairgrounds & Event Complex. Its goal is to build a reliable source of funding to preserve the Fair’s rich history and support its future growth.
The Endowment started with $100,000 in state funds, matched by donations from individuals, communities, and businesses. Then in 2024, $1.2 Million was raised towards the account, propelling it into a more distinct balance. Today, the account is at $5.3 Million, and a portion of non-fair revenue and investment earnings continue to grow the fund. Each year, 25% of the earnings goes directly back to support Fair operations, while the remaining 75% stays invested for future use.
End of Year Giving Campaign
Dear Friend of the Wyoming State Fair Foundation,
We invite you to be part of something meaningful.
The Wyoming State Fair Foundation (WSFF) was created to ensure the Wyoming State Fair continues to thrive for future generations-celebrating our state’s agriculture, youth, education, heritage, and industry.
As a brand-new nonprofit, we’ve already begun investing in essential upgrades, launching a scholarship program, and supporting hands-on education like Everyday Agriculture. But we need your help to grow.
Your annual gift will:
- Support 4-H and FFA youth programs
- Help preserve Wyoming’s ag heritage
- Improve fairgrounds infrastructure
- Expand educational and community outreach
Whether $25 or $2,500, your donation builds a stronger foundation for the Fair’s future.
Together, we’re keeping Wyoming traditions alive-and building new ones. Thank you for being part of our story.
Please watch for the annual request in your mailbox around November 15th, or check back here for a copy of the letter.
